I Am Legion # 4 (Of 6)
CBZ | 36 Pages | 24.5 MB
I Am Legion is a comic book miniseries that is the result of a partnerwhip between Devil's Due Publishing and Humanoids. In it French writer Fabien Nury, and American artists John Cassaday and Laura Martin, team up to bring audiences an elaborate tale set in the WWII era about a young girl whose super power is the center of a secret experiment. The story arc spans six issues, supposedly to be released on a monthly basis; issue #4 however is 2 months late. If you ask me it may yet be worth the wait.

Wasteland #25

Wasteland #25
Eng | CBR | July 8, 2009 | 51 Pages | 27.6 MB
Wasteland is an American monthly comic book series written by Antony Johnston, drawn by Christopher Mitten and published by Oni Press. Covers are by Ben Templesmith. Issue #1 was published in July 2006. Wasteland is set one hundred years after the Big Wet, an unspecified disaster that destroyed modern society and, it is assumed, changed the world's coastlines. The story takes place somewhere in America, now a barren desert and dustbowl without modern technology. The seas are poisonous, and subsistence farming with small amounts of livestock appears to be the norm. Each issue of Wasteland is 32 pages long (with the exception of issue #1, which was a special double length premiere) and contains 22 pages of comic story, one episode of the prose serial travelogue Walking The Dust, a letters column and preview page for the following issue. Issue #25 is billed as a double-length full-color anniversary issue and as such has 51 pages (including cover). Much work has gone into providing as much detail and authenticity to the story--it even has its own theme song--and it shows.

Wednesday Comics #1 (Of 12)

Wednesday Comics #1 (Of 12)
Eng | CBR | July 8, 2009 | 20 Pages | 40.1 MB
At a time when many newspapers are cutting back on their comics sections, DC Comics is looking to remind readers of the fun and excitement a full Sunday-sized comics section can offer. Except they’re going to do it on Wednesdays. This marks the debut of DC's Wednesday Comics, a new 12-part weekly series launching this summer that will be presented in a 14” x 20” broadsheet format and will have to be unfolded and opened to be read. The "Wednesday" part of the title refers to the fact new comic books go on sale at comic book stores nationwide every Wednesday. The concept is to try to recapture the spirit, format, and sense of enjoyment that people had from reading the Sunday comics that arrive in newspapers every week; and the plan is for 16 weekly strips that will be presented in newspaper format, which will feature some of DC Comics' primary characters, as well as some of the premiere creators in the business.
