Siege: Storming Asgard - Heroes & Villains #1 (One-Shot)
CBR | Jan 17 2010 | 31 Pages | 16.4 MB
Siege: Storming Of Asgard Heroes And Villains #1 is a one-shot that goes over in more detail about all of the players in Marvel Comics' The Siege event. The bios are purportedly framed and written by H.A.M.M.E.R. agents. This comic actually has all the info one needs to be fully briefed about all the details of the recent happenings of the Marvel Universe, such as the White Queen and Namor teaming up and rebelling against Normal Osborn, or how Steve Rogers' return is not publicly known yet, or that there are 5 Avengers teams (sorry if I've spoiled things). My gripe is that this one-shot should have been released before all other issues on the Siege event. Other than that, it may actually help in sorting out all the Siege-related titles, miniseries and crossovers that have been or will be, published.
Since the shocking finale of SECRET INVASION vaulted him to national prominence and a newfound respect, Norman Osborn has been slowly organizing his power base, promoting his minions, eliminating his enemies – and losing his sanity. Now, as he meets with the uber-powerful elite of the Cabal – Doctor Doom, Loki and the Hood – the final stages of his Dark Reign are about to be put into fruition: the taking of Asgard. Some might say such a plan is insane. And when you're dealing with the former and possibly future Green Goblin, we're not going to necessarily disagree with you!

2000 AD Prog 1669
CBR | Jan 2010 | 29 Pages | 18.9 MB
2000 AD is a multi-awarded, long-running and still-ongoing weekly British science fiction-oriented comics anthology that serializes a number of separate stories each issue (called a "prog") that has been at the cutting edge of contemporary pop culture since it’s first publication by IPC Magazines in February 26, 1997. IPC, later Fleetway, continued to produce the title until 2000, when it was bought by Rebellion Developments. Due in part to its weekly publication schedule, it is one of only a few comics to surpass 1,600 issues. It is most noted for its Judge Dredd stories, and has been contributed to by a number of artists and writers who became renowned in the field internationally, such as Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Grant Morrison, Bryan Talbot, Brian Bolland, Garth Ennis and Mike McMahon.

Wolverine: Wendigo! #1 (One-Shot)
CBR | Jan 2010 | 53 Pages | 41.2 MB
This one-shot comes from Marvel's online digital comic series "Monsters, Myths & Marvels" exploring the many such creatures and entities that populate the Marvel Universe. This time it's about the mythical savage creature known as the Wendigo. Both the Wendigo and Wolverine had their very first appearance in Incredible Hulk #180 (October 1974) which, for those who follow my posts, was reprinted in full in King-Size Hulk #1 (Released May 29, 2008) that I posted as part of the Hulk Vol. 2 current and complete series compilation (link in details). In that King-Size the Wendigo also appears in the main feature versus the Red Hulk.
A camera crew torn limb from limb attempting to shoot footage of a mythical beast in the deepest forests of Canada. Two survivors spouting wildly diverging stories about a ferocious, white-furred monster and the mysterious stranger that came to their rescue. How are the police to make heads or tails of all of this? Let's go to the videotape! Also featuring: 'Wolverine Vs. Thor': Want to see what happens when a jerky-chewing kanuckle-head steps up to the Asgardian God of Thunder? Let's just say that it doesn't involve tea and biscuits. Featuring Wolverine and Logan in their first encounter, which first debuted on MARVEL DIGITAL COMICS.
